Problem

Going Solo...But First, a Logo

Deborah Shaffer, a local Austin hairstylist, wanted to branch off from her salon and start her own business. Before she could do that, she needed to establish a brand and a way to reach customers. Beginning with a focus on natural elements, we set off to establish a total brand package including logos, business cards, color palettes, and a responsive website.

Solution

Launching a Local Austin Business

From logos to business cards to a responsive website with booking functionality, we built Deborah's brand and business from the ground up. Four logos and three business card designs were created in an effort to be inclusive of multiple genders and provide clients the opportunity to choose which card they identified with best. The website consisted of six pages: Home, Book Now, Meet Deborah, Gallery, Testimonials, and My Account. Building off of the succulent-inspired logo illustrations, the site was given organic, earthy tones with notes of lavender and teal.

Result

Good Hair Days Only from Here on Out

Deborah's business now thrives like she never could have imagined. Thanks to her online booking functionality, Deborah does not have to worry about organizing her schedule or double-booking clients. Since then, she has even gained the freedom to consider building another side venture, a jewelry business we are now building called Petals & Metal.
